Since its world premiere at the AFI Fest, Los Angeles, November 2007, 1000 Journals was officially selected into the Berlin International Film Festival 2008 (Berlinale Special), and among others, San Francisco International, Indianapolis, and Newport Beach Film Festivals. The film opens theatrically on August 1st 2008 at the Roxie Theater in San Francisco.
